Mac MacTarnahan's Beer Garden

Mac's Beer Garden is the perfect place for meeting friends and having a pint or two; open all day.

Stay for the Ceilidh, a fun and casual Scottish party, to wind down after a busy day at the Games, have a pint and a banger, and enjoy the music. Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) is a Celtic word for a party and after a full day of fun and Scottish culture, a ceilidh is the best way possible to spend an evening.

Our Ceilidh is held on the field at Mac's Beer Garden after the massed pipes and drums (starting around 6:00 or so) and will continue until 8:30 p.m. We will feature a number of entertainers including the Celtic bands, Men of Worth and Beltaine. Extra raffle prizes will also be drawn and you may also purchase your LIVE recording of the day's Pipe Band Competition.

There will be refreshments in the form of food and beverages, which include beer, wine and single malt whiskeys. Pipers, drummers, dancers, athletes, and other competitors, performers and spectators all get a chance to mingle in a casual atmosphere.
