Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) is a Celtic word for a party and after a full day of fun and Scottish culture, a ceilidh is the best way possible to spend an evening. Our ceilidh is held on the field at the Mac MacTarnahan Beer Garden after the massed pipes and drums (starting around 5:30 or so) and will continue until 8:30 p.m.
There will be refreshments in the form of food and beverages, which include beer, wine and single malt whiskeys. Hot off the press, live recording of the 2011 Pipe band competition CD will be available for purchase.
Pipers, drummers, dancers, athletes, and other competitors, performers and spectators all get a chance to mingle in a casual atmosphere.
