Join us for one of the Pacific Northwest’s most anticipated celebrations of Scottish culture at the Portland Highland Games! Pipe bands from across the region and beyond are invited to compete in a thrilling showcase of musical excellence, tradition, and camaraderie.
The Pipe Band Competition is a highlight of the Games, featuring dynamic performances from talented bands competing in graded events. Audiences will experience the powerful sound of pipes and drums as bands take the field, culminating in the iconic Massed Bands performances during the closing ceremonies.
Pipe band competitions at Highland Games are judged on musical performance, precision, and overall presentation, with bands demonstrating the results of countless hours of practice and dedication.
